Two Drivers injured after Tippers collide head-on in Pattan

A major road accident occurred on NH-44 near Haiderbeigh in Pattan on Monday when two heavily loaded tippers collided head-on, leaving both drivers seriously injured and causing a massive traffic jam on the highway.

Following the collision, vehicular movement on the busy stretch came to a standstill, with long queues of stranded vehicles reported on both sides of the road.

Pattan Police immediately rushed to the spot, launched rescue efforts, and are working to clear the debris to restore normal traffic movement on the Baramulla–Uri highway.
