Two persons were killed after a vehicle rolled off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Tringa Nallah near Tote area Bhomag of Reasi district on Tuesday.

Officials told GNS that a Mahindra vehicle, bearing registration number JK20A-0385, met with the accident under the jurisdiction of Police Station Reasi, leaving two occupants dead.

The deceased have been identified as Jagdev Singh, son of Balwan Singh, and Multan Singh, son of Rattan Singh, both residents of Charalakote, Tehsil Bhomag.

Following the incident, the bodies were retrieved from the gorge and shifted to PHC Dangakot for medico-legal formalities.

Further proceedings are underway as per law. (GNS)
