Bhaderwah, June 27: Two persons were killed and four others injured on Saturday after a vehicle rolled down a gorge on Guldanda Road in Bhaderwah area of Doda district.

Officials told that the vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge. Two occupants succumbed to injuries at Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah.

One of the deceased has been identified as Imam Hussain, 65, a resident of Akhnoor. The second victim was identified as Zaitoon Bibi. 

Four other injured persons were given first aid at SDH Bhaderwah and later referred to Government Medical College Doda for advanced treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident. Further details are awaited.
