TWO LeT HIDEOUTS BUSTED IN KANGAN (NAJWAN) GANDERBAL

Srinagar,06, November 2017

District police Ganderbal have busted two hideouts of Militant outfit Lashkar e Toiba (LeT) in upper reaches of Najwan Kangan in central kashmir’s District Ganderbal. 
SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone  Said that.
“On a specific information a joint search operation was launched by District Police Ganderbal, Army 24RR and S.O.G Ganderbal and Kangan. To flush out LeT militants from the higher reaches in Kangan belt”. During the search operation police and security forces busted two hideouts and recovered Arms and Ammunition detailed below :
UBGL THROWER (01)
UBGL SHELLS (19)
CHINESE HAND GRENADES (03)
WIRELESS SET (01)
MORTAR SHELLS (01)
AK MAGAZINE (01) including cooking utensils, blankets and some food items from the said hideouts” .
SSP Ganderbal further added that” this root leads militants to enter Srinagar as well as south kashmir via Tral forests from north kashmir. District police Ganderbal and other security forces are monitoring the area”.
