Two persons have died after a shooting stone hit a truck they were travelling in, along Jammu-Srinagar highway, officials said on Wednesday.

In a tweet, Deputy Commissioner Ramban said, “Two persons feared trapped after shooting stone hit their truck near Digdole on NH-44 have reportedly died in the incident.”

Earlier, he tweeted, “A boulder has hit a truck near Digdole on NH-44. 2 persons feared trapped. Police & QRT Ramban on spot. People advised to drive on Highway with caution.
