SRINAGAR: Jammu Police arrested two women drug peddlers from Rajasthan and recovered approximately one kilogram of an opium-like substance from their possession in the Miran Sahib area, officials said.

According to official sources, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh, under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Gurmeet Singh, was on patrolling duty on the Ring Road when the two women, on noticing the police party, became suspicious and attempted to flee.
