The recent blood bath made by Indian Forces in Kachdoora Shopian shivered every human being in general and Kashmiries in particular. Whosoever possesses human heart, got upset. The mysterious and silent entrance during the dark night hours into the village through empty roads of Kachdooras surprised every resident to hear from mosque loudspeakers that they are under cordon and cannot leave village limits.
The locals who eye witnessed these bloodbaths are frightened and are unable to express the anger and harsh temper of wild animals of Govt. forces. The victims had only fault that they had no fault. The blood streams and lanes of the village were seen filled with blood of sinless people. The believers of “Ahinsa” did not leave any movement to commit merciless killings to the extent they could. The followers of “Non violence” left no second to butcher the innocent people. The women were tortured. The little buds and delicate plants who were most loving flowers before wee hours of their parents became orphans and destitute just after the sun showed his face at the top mountains of Shopian. On bloody Sunday of April-Ist 2018 while observing the wrath of Govt. forces, the trees at high peaks shed tears. Birds and small creatures were scared. Pebbles on shore lamented, wild animals of thick forests in Shopian roared to observe inhumane attitude of Govt. forces. Small insects were frightened but Govt. forces did not take pity on these unarmed and innocent people of the village. Their heart did not melt but went on to onslaught people for no fault of theirs. These civilians had no guns and arms in their hands.
The PDP’s healing touch to which present Chief Minister refers occasionally without any conviction was implemented through war and sudden attack on people and innocent residents during the night of Ist April 2018. It seems that Govt. of India does not want people but the high altitudes, fresh breeze, rivers and Meadows of flowers, of the valley and is bent upon to do so. After every three or four days the butchery news of Govt. forces is heard. The dears and nears are snatched from laps of mothers, which can be confirmed from those who have received such un-curable wounds. The most disgusting affair is that blackbuck killers are punished and sent to Jail outside Kashmir, whereas but for the special status human beings are butchered in Kashmir in broad day light because bucks are more precious than humans in Kashmir. The buck killers are dealt with law, but the Govt. forces enjoy a free hand to murder humans in Kashmir.
From every corner and street of Kachdoora village cries for help and “save us” were heard, but human faced wild animals of Govt continued the merciless killing of innocent people, without any provocation. The unfortunate part of horrifying and disgusting situation is that top and higher level military officers welcomed this massacre and congratulated the so called “Security forces” for this barbaric and savage action.
The right to live of Bucks is protected across Jawahar Tunnel but fake encounters, cruel lynching forced disappearances, custodial killings continue for humans in Kashmir. The Govt. forces enjoy full liberty to do ruthless killings in “Crown of country” with pride and boost for that. Added to it, salt is thrown on the wounds when criminal forces are awarded, high medals and praised for such barbaric actions.
This double standard callous and cunning policy carried by the Govt will not fetch anything for them, but will distant away from people of valley. The more and more suppression will alienate New Delhi form the people instead of earning hearts of masses hatred and dismay is created. The military suppression doesn’t solve the problem, but creates tens and hundreds. The plundering of colonies residential buildings constructed out of hard labour earnings creates dismal disappointment. The pellet firing on face of people rendering more twenty boys with blind eyes on 1/4/2018 will not give anything to New Delhi, but will strength the courage and spirit of people, and will worsen the situation . Govt. of India is aware that more than one lac people have been murdered for the last three decades and the result is zero.
Therefore, the best way is that Govt. of India should prove wiser to stop this gruesome and massacre and have open and sincere dialogue with all political leaders including Pakistan as had been done by Mr. Vajpayee the then Prime Minister of India during 2005 where-from a ray of hope had been seen to end and stop this undeclared war.
The participation of Pakistan is necessary because hundreds of soldiers in both countries at Border areas have been killed because of skirmish every now and then. Despite of many compromising events and documents held between two countries to refrain cross border firing such incidents continue and human lives are lost from both sides. It will be in the interests of both countries if inimical attitude is changed in to the friendly atmosphere for the prosperity and better development of both sides. Which is only possible when hostility and violence is shunned by both.
However, the residents of Kachdoora might have started to reconcile the departure of their kiths and kins the Khudwani Kulgam tragedy was caused. Again four civilians below twenty four turned down by Govt. forces on April 11th 2018. The would-be bride faints to observe her groom gunned down by licensed forces. All the hopes and plans of their future life dashed to ground. The marriage ceremony to be held in fourth week of April turned in a funeral procession in second week. It is apparent that GoI has no human heart, and is bent upon continue with the massacre.
It may be mentioned here that the highest police officer DGP also has expressed his sincere will to solve core Kashmir problem through talks between India, Pakistan and all political parties to bring peace in the continent.
However, Enough is enough life is precious. It is Almighty’s gift. He knows its value. Let us not waste it for unfaithful world, with brutality. Let us bring an end to hatred and hostility, and shape our future with fraternity, and right to live. Think a while on humanitarian grounds, so that we do not repent.
