People including the civil society members in the area have demanded transfer of the local staffers in the hospital.

“Patient care has been badly affected in the hospital. If the government does not take steps to improve the system in the hospital, we will be forced to protest,” said Muhammad Maqbool a senior citizen of the area.

Attendants alleged that the Staff Present there are playing with the lives of Patients even those in Intensive Care Unit.

“The hospital would cater to load of the entire area as it is equipped with latest machineries and facilities. However, it has become a victim of Carelessness,” the locals alleged. Attendants demanded that there is an immediate need to make all the staff accountable.

‘’No staff member should be allowed to use mobile phones during duty hours particularly in wards and ICU as it will help staff to be more alert and cautious towards their duties and will make Positive Change in Patient Care.

The Medical Superintendent (MS) of the Hospital, Dr Nazeer Parra, however refuted the allegations and said that it nobody in the hospital is at fault for using mobile phones during free time and most of the staff in ICU remain in PPE kits.

“Our hospital is under continuous 24×7 CCTV monitoring in the control desk. We have around 150 cameras in the hospital and for several times our staff need correspondence via phones”,he added . (CNS)
