In a public convention a grand public gathering was held in Heer village of Tangmarg area under the leadership of senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir on behalf of Apni Party. The session was attended by thousands of people came from various nearby. Besides the party’s general secretary Rafi Ahmed Mir, spokesperson Mahiuddin Muntazir and Raja Mansoor also participated in the occasion. DDC members were also present at the event. In their separate address, the speakers appealed to the public, stating that ‘Apni Party’ is your party, constantly striving for your social, cultural, political, and economic reforms and well-being. Ghulam Hassan Mir also addressed the gathering, thanking the public. He emphasized that I have worked at every stage of development and desire that our youth be supporters of peace and progress instead of any other ideology that produces restlessness. However, this can only be possible when the Indian government understands the pain of the Kashmiri people as its own. In his remarks, he further stated that Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had promised to make efforts to eliminate the distances between Kashmir and Delhi, but this promise has not been fulfilled till date. ‘Apni Party’ never wants our youth to adopt the path of terrorism by abandoning the path of peace, which is unacceptable to us in any way. He said we are not those politicians who deceive in the greed for power, show baseless dreams, but we will stand firm on whatever promise we make. He said we want to revitalize the demographics of the state of Jammu and Kashmir so that the people enthusiastically participate in their representation again. Finally, he thanked the guests and the public also.
