An unidentified body was recovered from Padshahi Bagh area of Srinagar on Sunday afternoon, officials said.

An official told that the locals spotted a body lying in an open area near Chinpoh ground of Padshahi Bagh and immediately informed the police.

He said a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body, adding that the identity of the deceased is being ascertained. “The body has been taken to hospital for medico-legal formalities,” he said.

Meanwhile, investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
