A dead body of an unidentified male has been found by a police party of PS Nowgam during morning hours near Tengan Crossing, New Bypass NHW, Officials said on Friday.

A Police spokesperson said that preliminary observation revealed that the deceased was run over by an unidentified vehicle during the intervening night of 28/29 Dec, 2023.
“After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased person has been kept in the mortuary of GMC Srinagar for identification”, he said.
