United Kashmir Theatres  Association  expresses grief on the sad demise of Dr. Aziz Hajani

United Kashmir Theatres Association organised a condolence meeting at hotel Shahenshah to expresses grief on the sad demise of the renowned poet, critic, language activist, former Secretary of Cultural Academy and the present Convener of the Sahitiya Academy for Kashmiri Language, Dr. Aziz Hajini. UKTA conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved family over the loss.

Dr. Hajini worked in different capacities in different institutions during his illustrious career that include the Deputy Directorate of School Education, the State Board of School Education, as an assistant prof in Sheikh ul Chair University of Kashmir and Jammu and Secretary of Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.

Dr. Hajini’s death is a great loss to Kashmiri language. He had dedicated his life for the growth and development of the language and worked tirelessly throughout his life.

The function was attended by President Dr. Ayash Arif, Gen. Secretary Mr. Shakeel ul Rehman, senior executives like Sheikh Hanief, Shafiq Qureshi, Showkat Usman, Shabir Hakak, Ab. Majid Wani and advisors like Shabbir Mujahid, Showkat Sheri, M Y Shaheen and others who attended were Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Bashir Qadri and Mushtaque Barq and others.
