Terming Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai’s son joining of militant ranks as “unfortunate”, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Shesh Paul Vaid urged Sehrai to appeal his son and other local boys to shun gun.

Vaid said: “This is very unfortunate. I urge Sehari that since he is in command, he should appeal his son and other local boys wielding gun to return. He should himself take a lead in entering into a dialogue so that youth of Kashmir are saved from the path of violence”.

Sehrai’s son Junaid Ashraf Sehrai holding a gun has gone viral on social networking sites, while family has lodged missing report in Srinagar’s Sadder police station.
