Vehicle Carrying Illegal Timber Seized In Handwara

Handwara October 15 : The forest Department in north Kashmir’s Hardwara Saturday seized a vehicle carrying illegal timber in Baghatpura area. 
An official said that a team under the leadership of Range Officer Rajwar Ghulam Nabi, including Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh, Tariq Ahmed Bagwan and Tawheed Ahmed Shamal, seized the vehicle carrying timber.
“During checking, the forest Department at Baghatpura Handwara found 24 feet of illegal timber loaded in a vehicle under registration number JK01W2938,” he said, adding that the vehicle was also seized and taken to the range office. 
He said that the vehicle was coming towards Rajwar, which was loaded with 24 feet of construction timber while the further investigation is ongoing-
