Kokernag, Apr 22 (KNC): The Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kokernag has issued an advisory regarding regulated vehicular movement on the Gawran towards Margan-Warwan road stretch, allowing traffic only during a specified time window on April 22, 2026, subject to fair weather conditions.
According to the advisory as per news agency vehicular movement shall be permitted only between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and commuters have been strictly directed to adhere to the notified timings. Movement outside the stipulated hours has been prohibited in view of safety considerations.
The administration has further stated that icy patches persist on certain stretches of the road, making the surface slippery and hazardous for movement. In view of this, only vehicles fitted with anti-skid chains or snow chains shall be allowed to ply on the route, while others will not be permitted.
Field functionaries have been directed to ensure proper regulation of traffic and wide dissemination of the advisory among the general public. The SHO Police Station Larnoo has also been instructed to ensure that no vehicle is allowed beyond the fixed time limit.
Authorities have warned that any violation of the guidelines shall invite strict legal action. (KNC)
