In one of its kind and for the first time in J & K, Jammu and Kashmir Innovative Foundation for Transforming Society(JKIFTS) lead by Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo on Friday organized Virtual awards ceremony for its official members.
The awards ceremony was organized under “Development and Innovation Initiative” of JKIFTS and it was hosted by Founder cum Director JKIFTS, Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo and moderated by Mohammad Taha Fayaz, senior member of JKIFTS.
During the ceremony, various members of JKIFTS were virtually awarded official certificates of membership for achieving official membership in JKIFTS and contributing to the organization to its various innovative initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir since inception.
The members who were awarded include Mushtaque B Barq — Coordinator cum Head of JKIFTS council of writers and columnists, Abrar Ul Mustafa, Raashid Ul Nabi Khan, Abid Hussain Rather, Dr. Nikhil Gupta, Mohammad Taha Fayaz, Mushtaq Hurra, Sheikh Shabir including other senior members from both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
While inaugurating the session and speaking on the occasion, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo said that the purpose of the event is to acknowledge, encourage and honor the members for doing great service to society through the multiple innovative initiatives of JKIFTS in Jammu and Kashmir.
While speaking on the occasion Dr Nikhil Gupta, Assistant Professor Department of Psychiatry ASCOMS Jammu and senior member of JKIFTS said that amid the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an upsurge in mental health crisis and people should take care of their mental health. Adding that JKIFTS has been doing awareness on mental health under its Mental Health cum De-addiction Program.
Abrar Ul Mustafa while speaking on the occasion said that JKIFTS is a good platform for various innovative initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir to explore the talent and skill of educated youth.
Mushtaque B Barq, Abid Hussain Rather, Raashid Ul Nabi Khan, Mushtaq Hurra, Sheikh Shabir, Imran Yousuf, Zakir Malik, Dr Sofi Rafiq, Syed Mohsin also spoke on the occasion among other senior members of JKIFTS.
The awards ceremony was attended by various members of JKIFTS from both Jammu and Kashmir divisions and it concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Coordinator JKIFTS.
