Wildlife Deptt Catches Bear Alive in Handwara

A wild bear was caught alive by the Wildlife Department at Kaka Rusa Handwara. For the past few days, the department has been receiving constant complaints that a bear is roaming in the vicinity of Kakrosa, which has made it difficult for people in many villages to get out of their homes. On Thursday morning, the department officials received a report of the presence of a bear.

After which an operation was launched and the live bear was caught from the village of Kakrosa, while going down to the populated area. “There is no need to be afraid and the public should report if any wild animal is spotted in populated area,” a wildlife official said
