Will Work on Stakeholder Issues to Boost Tourism in Kashmir: DG Tourism Manisha Saxena

Srinagar, July 13 : Director General Tourism Manisha Saxena on Friday said that they will work on the stakeholder issues to boost tourism in Kashmir.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) on sidelines of Tourism Stakeholders conference at Institute of hotel management Rajbagh, Manisha said that collaboration with stakeholders is important to boost tourist traffic and develop new experiences and destinations in Kashmir

“We had a very good discussion with stakeholders and will work on their issues.

Together, we hope to increase tourist traffic to Kashmir and develop new experiences and destinations,” she added.

On importance of environmental conservation as tourism grows, she said that they must all work together to address this challenge.

Manisha said that this initiative marks the beginning of their planning phase and assured that they will work closely with stakeholders to find solutions to their problems and enhance the tourism sector in Kashmir.
