45-Year-Old Naseema Begum Dies After Scorpio Collides With Tata Mobile

KANGAN, AUGUST 20 : A 45-year-old woman was killed in a road accident in the Akhal area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Naseema Begum, a resident of Akhal, Kangan.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a Scorpio vehicle collided with a Tata Mobile on a link road in the area. Naseema Begum sustained critical injuries in the collision.

She was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan for medical treatment. However, doctors at the hospital declared her brought dead.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the fatal accident.
