Won’t accept departmental cards, get issued from DCs offices: IGP Kashmir

IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar has asked field staff of essential services to get passes issued from concerned deputy commissioners.

IGP Kashmir about the difficulties being faced by field staff of different departments in their movement, he told, ” I appeal operational staff of essential services to get passes issued from the office of concerned DCs as only departmental identity cards won’t be accepted at Police/CAPFs Nakas. They should stay nearest to the place of work and curtail inter-district movement.”

Earlier in the day, reported that milk supply dealers are unable to move outside for facilitating essential supply to consumers.
