Workshop on cyber security held at civil secretariat

A workshop on cyber security was organised by SSP Security Civil Secretariat Srinagar,M Y Kichloo, on Thursday.

SP Security Smt Nighat Aman, DySp Security civil Secretariat Mudassar Hussain were also present in the workshop which was attended by security personnel including CRPF troopers deployed at Civil Secretariat, officials said.

Details regarding latest technology, tools and techniques related to cyber security were shared during the workshop. The experts threw light on the importance of cyber security in contemporary era where most of the financial, social activities are done via internet. They also informed the participants regarding means to protect against network intrusions and unlawful activities like hacking, cyber bullying, phishing, online banking frauds etc, the officials added.
