SRINAGAR, JULY 13 : Mission Director, Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project in J&K (JKCIP), Yasha Mudgal, conducted a comprehensive review of six pivotal projects of HADP at SKICC here today.
The meeting was attended by the project grounding and monitoring committees of the respective projects including Director Agriculture Jammu/Kashmir, Director Floriculture Kashmir, Agrostologist Kashmir, and representatives from SKUAST Jammu and SKUAST Kashmir while Jammu based officers participated virtually.
The reviewed projects, selected for their multi-stakeholder involvement, included Seed & Seed Multiplication Development Chain, Farm Mechanization, Innovative Approaches in Agriculture Extension, Rainfed Area Development (RAD), Promotion of Floriculture, and Fodder Development in J&K.
The Mission Director assessed the performance of each project, emphasizing the need to expedite establishment of various project activities. Key issues were addressed during the meetings, with immediate directives issued for their resolution.
Yasha Mudgal emphasized that in light of launch of the Kisan Sampark Abhiyan III, there must be focused attention on the extension and outreach of HADP and JKCIP project activities.
