the Young Dramatists Society presented a comedy play at Tigore Hall Srinagar which was sponsored by Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Play written by Sheikh Haneef and Directed by Mr Altaf Hussain. The audience appreciated the play . Although the play was a humorous one but it actually raised a major social issue,the human values in present materialistic world.

Famous actors from Kashmir valley acted in this play including Ashraf Khan, Hillal Khan, Jozy Mir, Shabir Hakak, Tamseel Khan, Shiekh Mushtaq, Ashraf Razgeeri and Jameela.

At the beginning of the ceremony condolences were expressed on the recent demise of two great theatre personalities Dr. Aziz Hajini and Farooq Afaq and letter of condolences was presented to Azhar Hajini and Ameeq Afaq the sons of the two great theatre personalities.
Afterwards Dr Ayash Arif a well-known actor and Director associated with theatre, was felicitated on receiving his PhD. Mohammed Amin Bhat, a well-known actor and director was also felicitated on his election as president of the Adbee markaz Kamraaz Jammu and Kashmir.
A book written by Sheikh Mohammad Haneef was released by Shabir Mujahid and ex Director Doordarshan Srinagar, Syed Humyon Qaiser ex Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar, Mushtaq Bala Convenor YDS , Fayaz Dilber, Umer Imtiyaz, Ayash Arif, Mushtaq Baqal, Gull Javed, Shakeel u Rehman and Mohammed Yousuf Shaheen. The book under title “Almari” contains theatrical plays and operas.
Appreciation certificates were presented to the participants by Syed Humyon Kaisar , Shabir Mujahid & Mushtaq Bala

Finally, the president of the Young Dramatists Society Mushtaq Baqal thanked the audience and reiterated that the Young Dramatists Society will continue to work for the promotion of theatre and Kashmiri language, he thanked ministry of culture government of India for assisting in presenting this drama.
