Young Dramatists Society Stages “Waliv Badlaw” at Chinar Book Festival 2026

Srinagar, 20 July 2026: The Young Dramatists Society presented the theatre play “Waliv Badlaw” at the Chinar Book Festival 2026, under the sponsorship of the National Book Trust (NBT). The performance attracted a large and enthusiastic audience, who appreciated the play’s powerful message and engaging presentation.
The play was written by Sheikh Fatima and directed by Altaf Hussain. The cast included Mohammad Shafi Khan, Sheikh Mushtaq, Sabir Rather, Numan Manzoor, Faiza Gul, Munazah Yousuf, and Arjmand, all of whom delivered impressive performances. Imran Latief looked after the technical aspects of the production, ensuring a smooth and effective presentation.
