Srinagar, Feb 05 : A 25-year-old youth lost his life after a, road accident at Hyderpora Tangpora Bridge in Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.

A police official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, he was identified as Numaan Ahmed Zarger, son of Lateef Ahmed Zarger, a resident of Kralpora Kantbagh near Petrol Pump, Srinagar.
The deceased had suffered severe head trauma in the accident, and was rushed to JVC Hospital, Bemina, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. (KNC)
