Srinagar, Aug 16 : A 25-year-old youth died after suffering an electric shock while repairing a wire at his home in Rangreth area of Srinagar on Saturday.

that the deceased has been identified as Nasir Ahmad Shergojre, a resident of Rangreth.
He was shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina by his family members, where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The youth had sustained a severe electric shock at home, which proved fatal before medical help could reach him, they said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started.
