Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that they have arrested a youth for harrassing, stalking and issuing online rape threats to girls in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

In a tweet Srinagar Police wrote, “One Syed Shamoon Hamdani S/o Mohd Ayoub Hamdani R/o Anwar colony Rawalpora arrested for harassing, stalking, assault & giving online rape threats to girls. A courageous girl approached with evidence of his wrongdoings. FIR no 58/2023 U/S 354,294,506,509 of IPC in Sadder PS.”
Police said that Seven (7) days police remand of the accused taken from Hon’ble court.
