16-year-old commits suicide in Handwara

A 16-year old boy commits suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his home in Malbag Handwara area in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

Reports reaching that a 16-year-old boy (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance at his home.

Soon after noticing him in an unconscious state, the family members rushed him to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment, where he was declared dead on arrival.

An official also confirmed the incident and said that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
