18 passengers injured after bus turns turtle in Handwara Village

Eighteen passengers were injured, three of them critically, after a bus they were traveling on turned turtle in Chontipora village of Mawer area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday, police said.
The accident occurred today morning when the bus was on its way to Handwara from Mawer.
Station House Officer (SHO) Qalamabad said: “The bus, bearing registration number JK13 3402 overturned today morning at Chontipora village in which almost 18 passengers received minor injuries, while as three passengers were critically injured.”
However, other passengers are said to be stable, he said.
