Youth killed, father injured in Sopore road

A youth was killed and his father injured when their vehicle met with an accident in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district last evening.

Reports said that the father-son duo were travelling in a tipper when the accident took place near Yemberzalwari Harwan in Zainageer area.

Both Hilal Ahmad Reshi (24) and his father Abdul Ahad were injured in the accident, they said, adding that they were shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for treatment.

“Hilal succumbed at the hospital,” said a family source.
