27 more patients discharged from SKIMS Bemina after recovering from Covid-19

SRINAGAR, MAY 03 2020

SKIMS Medical College Hospital Bemina Sunday informed that 27 more Covid-19 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering from the contagious disease.

So far 75 Covid-19 patients have recovered among the 149 such patients admitted in the hospital.

The 27 patients who were discharged from the hospital after recovery from Covid-19 infection today include 19 from Bandipora, 07 from Baramulla and one from Budgam district.

“With this the percentage of recovered patients jumps to 50.33 per cent which is among the highest in Jammu and Kashmir and well above the national average of 29.5%,” a statement of the SKIMS said.

The statement said that with two deaths reported at the hospital making mortality rate of 1.34%, the Institute is putting all efforts to ensure best possible healthcare to the Covid-19 admitted patients.
