History was scripted in Srinagar as feature Films Sushur THE FORZEN TIMES and Kaya Palat premiered on November 15, 2024, at the prestigious INOX Srinagar. This compelling stories of resilience and revenge has set a new benchmark, symbolizing a cinematic revolution in the heart of the valley.

Sushur and Kaya Palat are more than films ,it’s a declaration of Kashmir’s reawakening in the world of storytelling. Distributed by acclaimed Kashmiri filmmaker Hussein Khan and brought to life by a visionary teams led by Gul Reyaz and Rahhat Kazmi and Tariq Khan, the film resonates with the themes of hope, perseverance, and the unyielding spirit of the people.

Welcoming this milestone, filmmaker Mushtaq Bala said, “I deeply appreciate and welcome the filmmakers for producing films with Kashmir-centric subjects. Such efforts not only inspire audiences to engage with these stories but also play a vital role in establishing a thriving regional film industry. This is the need of the hour to put Kashmir back on the cinematic map.”

This landmark moment heralds the resurgence of the local film industry, inspiring a generation of Kashmiri storytellers to reclaim their voice and bring authentic narratives to the global stage. It’s a movement, a celebration of art, culture, and unity through the universal language of cinema.
