In a bid to enforce lockdown in letter and spirit, authorities Thursday sealed over 10 shops in North Kashmir’s Bandpora distirct.
Sources told that a team led by Tehsildar Sumbal, along with police officers visited Shadipora, Sumbal and Wangipora areas and sealed over 10 shops for violating the lockdown orders.
A police official said that all these 10 shopkeepers were booked and they will face action under law. Police have sealed scores of shops across Kashmir for remaining open despite prohibitory orders in vogue. ( KNT )
