COVID-19: 20 patients discharged from Rainawari Hospital

Twenty people, who were hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19 last month, were discharged from JLNM Rainawari Hospital after testing negative for the infection today.

Those who were discharged after recovering from this lethal infection hail from different parts of Kashmir, though majority of them are from Srinagar.

Nodal Officer for COVID-19 at JLNM Rainawari Hospital, Dr Bilquis said that 20 patients were discharged from the hospital after their recovery from COVID-19 infection. She added that one patient was discharged from the hospital after 25 days as he was symptomatic and tested repeatedly positive four times before testing negative.

Dr Bilquees said that rest of the patients were asymptomatic and were discharged after 18 days from the hospital.

After the recovery of these 20 patients, now there are only 34 Covid-19 patients admitted in JLNM Hospital Srinagar
