Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) Leader Basit Hayat Zargar said Rahul Gandhi has falsely stated about the breach of security in Jammu & kashmir. The claims he made are absolutely baseless. There was no actual lapse in the security arrangements. With such statements Congress wants to remain in headlines only.
Zargar in his statement said, Rahul Gandhi has this habit of slamming the empty doors since 1947, he has been playing ‘Divide and Rule’ policy and playing with the sentiments of many people especially in Kashmir. He never actually stood up for Kashmir and knew already that people of Kashmir wouldn’t join him in his so called ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ , so he misled everyone by claiming false accusations that his security cover was taken away. People have already been aware of thefalse gimmicks and tactics of Congress so Rahul Gandhi knew already nobody would be joining him in his Yatra and hence suspended his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ here in Jammu& Kashmir by saying his security was under threat because of taken away police cover.
It is clear that this whole Yatra was carried out to be in the headlines only and to grab attention of people. It was never meant for unification of India. If it would have been to unite India , there were many other reasons and steps Congress could have taken when in power.
