Jammu, Apr 28 : BJP National General Secretary and Jammu & Kashmir in-charge Tarun Chugh on Tuesday visited the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu with his family, offering prayers for peace, harmony, and sustained development in the region.
In a statement, Chugh said the blessings of the goddess inspire strength and commitment towards nation-building. He asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu & Kashmir is progressing steadily on the path of peace and stability.
“The spiritual aura of sacred shrines like Mata Vaishno Devi reinforces our collective resolve to build a stronger and more prosperous India,” Chugh said, adding that he prayed for the well-being of every citizen and for continued national unity.
The BJP leader also interacted with devotees during his visit and lauded the improved infrastructure and efficient management of pilgrim facilities. He credited the Modi government’s vision for enhancing the pilgrimage experience, calling it a step towards a developed India. (KNS)
