Body of Budgam youth fished out from the stream

After hard efforts the body of a youth was retrieved by police, locals and the teams of SDRF in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A 14-year-old boy had slipped to death into Shali Ganga stream in Arigam Budgam yesterday.

A police official told news agency that hard efforts were made to retrieve the boy identified as Irfan Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Arigam.

He said besides local police, 3 SDRF teams along with Srinagar River Police were on job. “The body was finally found some 100 metres away from the spot of incident,” he said. (KNT)
