Body of second Para- Commando recovered from Gadole forest in South Kashmir

After relentless efforts by security forces, body of second para-commando has been recovered on Friday morning in Gadole forest area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Officials told GNS that after two para Commandos went missing five days back due to bad weather in Gadole forests, today during searches second body of an army soldier was recovered.

Yesterday, one of body of a one of the missing para Commando was recovered by the security forces.

Pertinently, the army’s Chinar Corps on Thursday had wrote on X, ” On the intervening night of 6/7 Oct an operational team on Kishtwar range confronted a severe snow storm and white out conditions in the mountains of South Kashmir. Since then, two soldiers have gone out of communication. Intense Search and Rescue operations have been launched but hampered due to prevailing adverse weather conditions.(GNS)
