Brief exchange of fire between government forces and militants took place at Litter village of Pulwama district at around 03:00 am today.

As per reports government forces launched Cordon and Search Operation at around 01:00 am during night hours.
During Cordon and Search Operation brief exchange of fire took place at around 03:00 am.
However, militants managed to escape after brief exchange of fire.
Moreover, Cordon and Search Operation was lifted in the area during morning hours.
