Jammu, February 2: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra on Sunday described the Assembly Budget day as a crucial moment for the Union Territory, stressing the need for meaningful deliberations on issues concerning the people.

“Today is Assembly day and Budget day, which makes it a very important day. The Budget should address the pressing concerns of the people and reflect their aspirations,” Karra said.

Referring to the wider regional situation, he noted that several challenges faced by SAARC countries also need to be addressed through dialogue and cooperation, adding that peace and stability in the region are essential for sustainable development and prosperity | Kashmir Pen
