Budgam, Apr 11 : A comprehensive career counselling programme was held at the auditorium of Sheikh-ul-Alam Degree College Budgam, organised jointly by Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Sandip Foundation, and Sandip University, Nashik.

The event was presided over by Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi Al-Safavi, representative of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian. Sandip Foundation Chairman Dr Sandeep Jha and the college’s principal were among the distinguished guests present.

A large number of students participated in the session, which aimed to guide them in making informed career choices and understanding emerging educational opportunities.

Addressing the gathering, speakers stressed the importance of quality education in shaping society and called for students in Jammu & Kashmir to have access to modern, skill-oriented courses.

Representatives from Sandip University gave an overview of programmes in technical education, medical sciences, management, and other professional disciplines.

Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi Al-Safavi said such educational awareness initiatives empower the youth and urged students to take full advantage of them. He reiterated Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian’s commitment to promoting education and intellectual growth in the region.

Dr Sandeep Jha said the foundation aims to expand quality education across regions and expressed interest in academic collaborations in Jammu & Kashmir.

The programme ended with an interactive session where students sought guidance on career planning and course selection. (KNS)
