Srinagar, July 15: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today attended the Annual Day function of SKIMS Medical College, where the 2019 MBBS batch was formally conferred with their degrees in a ceremony marked by pride, emotion, and celebration.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to the young doctors, urging them to dedicate their careers to service, compassion, and excellence in healthcare.
“Your journey has not been easy, but it is truly inspiring. The years of hard work, long hours, and personal sacrifices you’ve made speak volumes about your commitment,” Omar Abdullah said. “As you now step into the world of medicine, I urge you to devote yourselves to patient care—with skill, sincerity, and, above all, compassion.”
The event was attended by faculty members, students, parents, and medical professionals who applauded the graduating class for their perseverance and achievement, especially in light of the challenges posed by the pandemic during their academic years.
