Awantipora, July 15: The Industrial Association Wuyan held a significant interaction with the General Manager of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to deliberate on strategies aimed at easing financing avenues for new manufacturing units and strengthening access to working capital for existing enterprises.

The engagement was held at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) located at Campus III of the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST). The meeting provided a constructive platform for stakeholders to voice industry concerns, share ground realities, and explore tailored financial support mechanisms.
During the session, members of the Industrial Association Wuyan emphasized the urgent need for simplified loan procedures, interest subsidies, and sector-specific schemes to encourage entrepreneurship and industrial growth in the region. The SIDBI General Manager acknowledged the suggestions and assured enhanced institutional support and collaborative initiatives in the near future.
