JAMMU, 20 June: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today inaugurated the CM’s Public Services & Outreach Office – Raabita at Canal Road, Jammu, marking a major step towards making governance more accessible to the people.

“Following the success of Raabita in Srinagar, it was only natural to replicate the model in Jammu,” the Chief Minister said. “This office ensures citizens no longer need to reach the Secretariat to be heard.”

The Raabita facility is designed to register and redress public grievances through both offline and online platforms, with dedicated ministerial staff ensuring timely action and follow-up.

Reaffirming his government’s commitment to inclusive and people-centric governance, Omar Abdullah added, “My government is committed to addressing every grievance—big or small—and connecting with every citizen.”

The initiative has been widely welcomed by the public, who lauded it as a transformative step in strengthening citizen-government engagement.
