ANANTNAG, Sept 6: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today visited several flood-affected areas of Anantnag district and met families who have borne the brunt of the disaster. He assured the people that the Government stands firmly with them during these difficult times and that all possible steps will be taken to provide relief, support, and rehabilitation.

“I want to assure our people that they are not alone. The Government is committed to ensuring immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation measures for all affected families,” the Chief Minister said.
He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Ministers Sakina Itoo (NC Noorabad) and Javed Ahmad Rana, Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani (Sogami), and concerned MLAs of the district.
