CM Omar Expresses Grief Over Demise of MP Er Rashid’s Father

Srinagar, May 18: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of the father of Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid and MLA Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh, who passed away at AIIMS, New Delhi.

In a post on X, Office of CM wrote, Chief Minister has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing away of the father of Hon’ble MP Er. Rashid and Hon’ble MLA Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh, who breathed his last at AIIMS, New Delhi.”

“The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He also prayed for strength and courage to the family to bear this irreparable loss,”the post reads.
