CM’s grievance cell takes cognizance of media reports about callous attitude of Pediatricians at SDH Sopore

Srinagar, Aug 19 : While taking cognizance of media reports about the lethargic and negligent attitude of Pediatricians at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore, here in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, Chief Minister’s grievance cell has written to the Director Health Service, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Baramulla and Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and has asked them to submit a report in this regard within a week’s time.
An online grievance team of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minster in response to a news report has tweeted, which reads; ” We have taken up the issue with complaint number 71064 on http://jkgrievance.nic.in“.
Pertinently, parents of new born babies have been continuously alleging that pediatricians at SD Hospital Sopore don’t go for any screen test of babies after their birth. They have also been alleging that doctors don’t treat the babies properly as a result many babies develop complications.
