- An experimental coronavirus vaccine was safe and triggered immune responses in all 45 participants in the first human tests, according to an article published Tuesday in the New England Journal of Medicine. The vaccine is being developed by the biotechnology company Moderna and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
