Coronavirus: Doordarshan authorities should invite docs, experts in Good Morning JK prog for mass awarenss: Altaf Thakur

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K UT spokesman Altaf Thakur on Saturday urged Doordarshan authorities in Srinagar that instead of inviting singers and dancers to their show “Good Morning Kashmir” , senior doctors and flu experts should be invited for the show so that a mass awareness campaign is launched through the program as how to stay safe from deadly Coronavirus.

Thakur said that it time to create mass awareness through doctors so that people dont panic and take safety measures so that they stay safe from coronavirus. The guest speakers should also be asked questions about facilities in place across J&K UT.

Thakur hailed the shherbeen for spreading mass awareness about coronavirus. He also appealed the Srinagar Muncipal Corporation (SMC) to distribute free masks and sanitisers among patients at hospitals, schools, public places and in every ward as a goodwill gesture , the statement said
