Communist Party of India( Jammu and Kashmir council) extended its heartfelt congratulations to NC-Congress alliance for its resounding victory in the Assembly elections.

In a statement issued here, the party said that the people cast their ballots wisely to prevent the fragmentation of votes.

The statement said that a huge mandate received by the National Conference clearly reflects the rejection of the policies pursued by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Bhartiya Janata Party over the last five years.

The party has expressed hope that the government-to- be elected will work for the betterment of the people.

” The ballooning unemployment, price rise and high electricity tariffs are some the pressing issues that needs to be prioritised”, said the statement.
